WILL YOUNG MONEY COPE WITHOUT WEEZY

As we all know the world is being swept by this phenomenon called young money. It is quite evident that Weezy f Baby (please say the baby), who has made his mark in this music biz, has been the driving force behind YM. However, with him being shipped off to the bing you have to wonder will YM cope without him?

First of all we have to look at the artists on the YM roster. None of these people have an album out thus none of them have solid careers. Okay wait aside from their golden boy and girl Drizzy Drake and Nicki Minaj, who have both generated a huge buzz around themselves from numerous mixtapes and features. But what about the Gudda Guddas, lil twists, lil chuckees and the Tygas (I mean do you even know these people).

2010 may be a dry year for the YM clang with their ring leader behind bars. We all know that if it was not for Wayne we would not give these peeps the time of friggin day (well at least I wouldn’t have). And with him incarcerated you probably wondering who will be acting boss of YM? Could it be Nicki da ninja or Heartbreak Drake? None of the above. YM will be headed by the creator of the swoosh dance: Mr Mack Maaaaaiiiine.
So I ask can Young Money do without Lil Wayne, I guess the success of Thank Me Later will tell. YOUNG MOOLA BABY.

now your boy Mr Calibre entered the 2009 emcee africa competition and got to the top 5 in the south african leg. My now friend Maraza won the South African leg and since the competiton me and him have been real dope friends. So when it was time for him to shoot his video he was like " yo fratpack has to make a cameo" and yeah we got to the set and got our fratpck on. check out some behind the scenes footage. WELCOME TO THE FRATLAB

Greetings readers I formally welcome you to the FRATLAB. This is a street/ hip hop culture blog mainly aimed at putting people on fratpack. Okay okay I know what you asking yourselves right now – “what the heck is fratpack?”
Fratpack is an awesome hip hop clique comprised of Mr Calibre (emcee/writer) me (emcee/ producer) and hytone (emcee/producer). We put out a mixtape titled FAR OUT which was met with mixed feelings. Now we are back on the music grind, working on a mixtape and a street album. Thus the fratlab will be documenting everything fratpack does, from recording tracks, performing, going to performances and even the music we listen to.
Other than that fratlab will put you on the latest in terms of all that is hip hop. FRATPACK WHAAT!!!!!
